gnome-js-common software package provides Common modules for GNOME JavaScript interpreters, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-js-common
gnome-js-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-js-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-js-common *
You will get with gnome-js-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
